Active: Nitenpyram + Pymetrozine Formulation: WG (Water Dispersible Granule) Action: Systemic & Translaminar

Product Information

Mode of Action

Nitenpyram rapidly activates nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, causing immediate paralysis (knockdown). Pymetrozine inhibits feeding behavior by blocking stylet insertion (starvation). This dual mechanism stops pests from feeding instantly, preventing the transmission of viral diseases.

Target Pests
  • Aphids
  • Whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci, Trialeurodes vaporariorum)
  • Planthoppers (Nilaparvata lugens, Sogatella furcifera)
  • Leafhoppers (Amrasca biguttula)
  • Asian citrus psyllid (Diaphorina citri)
Key Benefits

Quick dissolution and superior spray tank mixing. Highly effective against pests resistant to single-mode chemistries.

Recommended Application

Crop Target Pest Dosage
Cotton Aphids, Whiteflies, Leafhoppers Refer to Leaflet
Rice Brown Planthopper, White-backed Planthopper Refer to Leaflet
Vegetables Whiteflies, Aphids Refer to Leaflet
Citrus Asian Citrus Psyllid, Aphids Refer to Leaflet
Dosage Note: Specific dosage rates (g/ha) were not provided. As this is a highly concentrated WG formulation, rates will differ from liquid (OD/SC) formulations. Please consult the product leaflet for accurate dosing.

Application Instructions

1. Mixing (WG Formulation)
Pre-mix the required quantity of granules in a small amount of water to form a slurry before adding to the main spray tank. Agitate well to ensure complete dissolution.
2. Timing
Apply at the early stages of infestation. Immediate cessation of feeding is critical for preventing virus transmission, so do not wait for high pest populations.

Safety Precautions

Pollinator Safety: Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid. Do not apply when bees are actively foraging.

Handling: Granules minimize dust, but standard protective gear (gloves, mask) is still recommended during mixing.
