Echinochloa, Digitaria, Setaria, Eleusine, Amaranthus, Chenopodium, Commelina & Trianthema
Mode of Action
HRAC 27 (HPPD Inhibitor) + HRAC 2 (ALS Inhibitor) + HRAC 5 (PS II Inhibitor)
Use Sites / Crops
Maize (Corn)
Active: Topramezone + Nicosulfuron + Terbuthylazine Formulation: OD (Oil Dispersion) Selective Post-Emergence + Residual Triple HRAC Group 27 + 2 + 5 Action

Product Information

Mode of Action

Topramezone (HRAC Group 27) inhibits 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD), disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis and causing intense tissue bleaching in targeted weeds. Nicosulfuron (HRAC Group 2) inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), preventing essential branched-chain amino acid synthesis and halting cell division. Terbuthylazine (HRAC Group 5) inhibits Photosystem II (PS II), disrupting photosynthesis while providing long-lasting residual soil activity against germinating weed flushes.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyardgrass)
  • Digitaria sanguinalis (Crabgrass)
  • Setaria spp. (Foxtails)
  • Eleusine indica (Goosegrass)
  • Amaranthus spp. (Pigweed)
  • Chenopodium album
  • Commelina benghalensis
  • Trianthema portulacastrum

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Maize Annual grasses and broadleaf weeds Apply as a post-emergence spray when maize is at the 2–6 leaf stage and weeds are actively growing (2–4 leaf stage). Apply at the recommended label dosage with uniform spray coverage for optimum weed control and residual activity.
For specific L/ha or ml/ha dosage rates and local water volume recommendations in maize, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Post-Emergence Timing (2–6 Maize Leaf Stage)
Apply as a post-emergence foliar spray when maize is in the 2–6 leaf stage and target weeds are actively growing in the 2–4 leaf stage to deliver fast contact knockdown and systemic action.
2. Uniform Coverage & Residual Soil Activation
Ensure thorough and uniform spray coverage over weed foliage using calibrated spray equipment. Adequate soil surface moisture following application helps activate the terbuthylazine component for extended pre-emergence residual control.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target broadleaf crops and nearby aquatic environments. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
