Active: Thiodiazole Zinc Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Immunization & Nutrition

Product Information

Mode of Action

Thiodiazole acts as a plant defense activator by mimicking natural signaling compounds (like salicylic acid) to trigger Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR). It induces the production of pathogenesis-related (PR) proteins, phytoalexins, and other defense compounds. The zinc component enhances enzyme function and overall health. It works through the plant to boost immunity rather than killing pathogens directly.

Target Diseases
  • Bacterial: Bacterial leaf blight, Bacterial spot
  • Fungal: Rice Blast, Downy mildew, Powdery mildew
  • Viral: Reduces severity by enhancing immunity
  • Various foliar diseases
Key Benefits

Reduces reliance on conventional fungicides and bactericides. Corrects Zinc deficiency while fighting disease.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Targets Dosage (ml/Ha) Water (L/Ha)
Rice Bacterial Leaf Blight, Blast 500 – 750 500
Vegetables Bacterial Spot, Mildews, Viral suppression 500 – 750 500
Fruit Crops Bacterial Canker, Mildews 500 – 750 500 – 1000
Ornamentals Leaf Spots, Bacterial diseases 500 – 750 500
Dosage Note: The recommended rate is 500-750 ml per hectare, or a concentration of 0.1% to 0.15% (1.0 – 1.5 ml per Liter of water).

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Preventive use is critical. Apply 3-7 days before expected disease appearance. The product needs time to activate the plant’s internal defense systems before the pathogen attacks.
2. Frequency
Repeat applications every 10-14 days during disease-prone periods to maintain high levels of defense compounds in the plant tissue.

Safety Precautions

Compatibility: Excellent for Integrated Disease Management (IDM) programs. Can be used in rotation or tank-mixed with conventional fungicides to enhance their efficacy, but check compatibility first.

Handling: Wear standard protective clothing.
