Product Information

Mode of Action

Sulphur acts as a multi-site inhibitor affecting various enzyme systems and metabolic processes in fungal cells. Upon application, sulphur particles on the plant surface are converted into hydrogen sulfide and other reactive compounds. These inhibit spore germination, fungal respiration, and cellular functions. It also disrupts mite reproduction and development through direct contact activity.

Target Pests & Diseases
  • Diseases: Powdery Mildew, Downy Mildew, Rust, Late Blight.
  • Pests: Spider mites, Rust mites, and other mite species.
Key Benefits

Triple action: Fungicide, Acaricide, and Plant Nutrient. WDG formulation mixes easily with water and spreads uniformly. Low risk of resistance development due to multi-site action.

Directions for Use

1. Application Timing
Apply as a prophylactic spray or at the very early signs of disease/mite infestation. Repeat applications at 10-14 day intervals if weather conditions favor disease development.
2. Mixing Instructions
Fill the spray tank 1/3 with water. Add the required amount of Sulphur 80% WDG while agitating. Fill the remainder of the tank. The granules disperse quickly to form a fine suspension.
3. Weather Restrictions
Avoid spraying when temperatures are very high (above 30°C) to prevent phytotoxicity (scorching) on sensitive crops like apples or grapes. Do not spray during strong winds.

Safety & Storage

Precautions: Sulphur can be irritating to skin and eyes. Wear goggles, gloves, and long-sleeved clothing during application.

Compatibility: Do not mix with oils or spray within 2 weeks of an oil spray. Incompatible with certain alkaline pesticides.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from open flames (Sulphur is flammable). Keep out of reach of children.
