Mode of Action
Systemic Dual Action
Crops
Veg, Cotton, Fruits
Active: Spirotetramat + Imidacloprid Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Lipid Inhibitor + Nerve Agonist

Product Information

Mode of Action

Spirotetramat: A keto-enol (tetronic acid derivative) that inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (lipid biosynthesis), causing mortality in immature stages (nymphs/larvae) and suppressing population buildup.
Imidacloprid: A neonicotinoid that acts as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) agonist, disrupting the insect nervous system.

Target Pests
  • Whiteflies
  • Red spider mites & other mites
  • Mealy bugs
  • Thrips and other sucking pests
Key Benefits

Provides two-way systemic action (phloem and xylem transport) ensuring protection of new shoots and effective control of hidden pests.

Recommended Dosage

Crop(s) Target Pest Dosage / Ha Water (L/Ha) Waiting Period (Days)
Okra Red spider mites 500 gm 500 03
Brinjal Whitefly, Red spider mites 500 gm 500 05
Mango Mealy bug 0.075% Depending on tree size 15
Cotton Mealy bug 625 gm 500 22
Grapes Thrips, Mites, Mealy Bugs 750 gm 1000 60
Important: For Mango, the dosage is concentration-based (0.075%). For Grapes, note the extended waiting period of 60 days.

Application Instructions

1. Application Timing
Apply at the early stages of pest infestation. Due to Spirotetramat’s action on immature stages, early application prevents population explosions.
2. Method of Use
Mix the required formulation thoroughly in water. For Mango trees, ensure the spray fluid volume is sufficient to cover the entire canopy depending on the tree size.

Safety Precautions

Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Vary significantly by crop.
  • Okra/Brinjal: 3-5 days
  • Mango: 15 days
  • Cotton: 22 days
  • Grapes: 60 days

Handling: Wear full protective gear. Do not spray during active bee foraging hours as Imidacloprid is toxic to bees.
