Insecticide / Acaricide
SPIRODICLOFEN 32% + LUFENURON 8% SC
Specialized insecticide and acaricide formulated to provide extended suppression of mites and immature insect stages. By combining lipid biosynthesis inhibition with insect growth regulation, the formulation effectively reduces pest development while protecting crops from recurring infestations.
Target Pest
Mites, Thrips, Whiteflies & Caterpillars
Mode of Action
ACC Inhibition + Chitin Synthesis Inhibition
Target Crops
Cotton, Chilli, Tea, Apple, Citrus, Vegetables
Active: Spirodiclofen + Lufenuron
Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate)
Extended Mite Suppression
Insect Growth Regulation
Product Information
Mode of Action
Spirodiclofen (IRAC Group 23) inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase, disrupting lipid biosynthesis and affecting the growth and reproduction of mites. Lufenuron (IRAC Group 15) inhibits chitin synthesis, preventing normal moulting of immature insects.
Target Pests
- Red Spider Mite
- Yellow Mite
- Whiteflies
- Thrips
- Leaf-eating Caterpillars
Recommended Application
| Recommended Crops | Targeted Pests | Dosage & Method of Application |
|---|---|---|
| Chilli | Yellow Mite | Apply immediately after initial mite activity is detected. |
| Cotton | Spider Mites | Achieve uniform coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces. |
| Tea | Red Spider Mite | Integrate applications with regular crop monitoring. |
| Citrus | Mites | Treat before severe infestation develops. |
| Vegetables | Thrips | Follow recommended spray intervals under sustained pest pressure. |
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and dilution guidelines across recommended crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural experts.
Application Instructions
1. Early Stage Application & Scouting
Apply immediately after initial mite or immature insect activity is detected. Treating before severe populations build up ensures effective lipid biosynthesis inhibition and chitin disruption.
2. Thorough Surface Coverage
Achieve uniform spray coverage across both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Follow recommended spray intervals if pest pressure remains continuous.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, overalls) during spray preparation and handling. Avoid spraying during active pollinator activity and prevent chemical runoff into nearby water bodies. Store in a cool, dry place.
