Mode of Action
Pyrazosulfuron ethyl inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, effectively blocking the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids. This action stops cell division in meristematic tissues, leading to growth cessation and plant death within 10-15 days.
