Product Information

Mode of Action

Pyraclostrobin is a QoI (Quinone outside Inhibitor) fungicide classified under FRAC Group 11. It inhibits mitochondrial respiration by binding specifically to complex III at the Qo site, blocking cellular energy (ATP) production and causing fungal cell death. Due to a moderate-to-high risk of resistance development, it must be rotated or tank-mixed with different FRAC groups.

Target Diseases
  • Downy mildew
  • Powdery mildew
  • Rusts
  • Leaf blight
  • Anthracnose
  • Leaf spots

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Disease Application Guidance
Wheat Rust Apply preventively at early disease onset; avoid more than 2 consecutive sprays per season to manage resistance.
Grape Powdery mildew Time applications ahead of favorable infection weather; rotate with a non-Group 11 partner.
Soybean Anthracnose / Leaf spots Apply at canopy closure for translaminar coverage of lower leaf surfaces.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Preventive Timing & Canopy Closure Placement
Apply at early disease onset in wheat or ahead of favorable infection weather in vineyards. In soybeans, time applications around canopy closure to harness translaminar movement and protect lower leaf surfaces.
2. Resistance Management Strategy
Limit standalone applications to no more than 2 consecutive sprays per season. Always rotate or tank-mix with fungicides belonging to a non-FRAC Group 11 category to prevent resistance buildup.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and spraying. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; prevent chemical drift or runoff into nearby water bodies, streams, and drainage canals. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from foodstuffs and animal feed.
