Potato, Tomato, Grapes, Vegetables
Active: Pyraclostrobin + Famoxadone
Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate)
Dual QoI Action
Strong Protective Defense
Product Information
Mode of Action
Pyraclostrobin and Famoxadone both inhibit electron transport at the cytochrome bc1 complex in fungal mitochondria, blocking ATP production and fungal growth. Both active ingredients belong to FRAC Group 11 (QoI fungicides), delivering powerful protective activity against susceptible fungal pathogens.
Target Diseases
- Late blight
- Early blight
- Downy mildew
- Alternaria spp.
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Disease | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Potato | Late blight | Establish a protective base before symptoms show; this is not a rescue treatment. |
| Tomato | Early blight | Step up frequency once conditions turn warm and humid for extended stretches. |
| Grapes | Downy mildew | Push spray penetration deep into the canopy, especially the underside of leaves. |
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Preventive Base Establishment
Apply preventively before symptoms appear in susceptible crops like potatoes, as this product operates primarily as a protective treatment. Increase application frequency in tomatoes during extended warm and humid weather.
2. Canopy Penetration & Resistance Rotation
Ensure thorough spray penetration deep into dense crop canopies, focusing on leaf undersides where downy mildew pathogens establish. Rotate with non-QoI fungicides (outside FRAC Group 11) to manage resistance.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; prevent chemical drift or runoff into nearby water bodies, ponds, and drainage canals. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food and animal feed.
