Product Information

Mode of Action

Pyraclostrobin (FRAC Group 11 – QoI fungicides) inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transport within the cytochrome bc1 complex, preventing fungal energy production. Epoxiconazole (FRAC Group 3 – DMI fungicides) inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis through inhibition of the CYP51 enzyme, suppressing fungal cell membrane development.

Target Diseases
  • Rusts
  • Septoria spp.
  • Powdery mildew
  • Cercospora leaf spot
  • Foliar leaf spots

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Disease Application Guidance
Wheat Rusts Front-load protection before pustules erupt — curative activity is weaker than preventive.
Soybean Cercospora Watch canopy humidity levels; dense, wet canopies are the trigger point for stepping up sprays.
Maize Leaf spots Cover both older lower leaves and newer growth, since infection can start at either.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Preventive Front-Loading & Humidity Triggers
Apply preventively before rust pustules erupt in cereal crops like wheat, as preventive control yields far superior performance compared to curative treatment. In soybeans, monitor canopy humidity closely and step up spray applications when dense, wet canopies favor Cercospora emergence.
2. Full-Canopy Leaf Coverage
Ensure application equipment is calibrated to provide thorough coverage across the entire plant canopy—including older lower leaves and newly expanding upper foliage—to prevent leaf spot development in maize.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; prevent spray drift or runoff into nearby waterways, streams, and drainage ditches. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from foodstuffs and animal feed.
