Rusts, Powdery Mildew, Fusarium Head Blight, Leaf Spots, Alternaria, Cercospora & Sclerotinia
Mode of Action
FRAC Group 3 / Dual Ergosterol Biosynthesis Blockade (CYP51)
Use Sites
Cereals, Oilseed Crops, Pulses, Maize, Soybean, Vegetables
Active: Prothioconazole + Tebuconazole
Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate)
Dual Systemic Triazole Action
Preventive, Curative & Eradicative
Product Information
Mode of Action
Both active ingredients inhibit ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase (CYP51) enzyme, preventing fungal cell membrane formation and suppressing fungal growth. Both fungicides are classified under FRAC Group 3 (DMI Fungicides).
Target Diseases
- Rusts
- Powdery mildew
- Fusarium head blight
- Leaf spots
- Alternaria spp.
- Cercospora leaf spot
- Sclerotinia stem rot
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Disease | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Rusts, Fusarium | Combine early scouting with a spray ahead of forecasted infection weather. |
| Soybean | Cercospora | Step up frequency as canopy humidity builds through the season. |
| Oilseed rape | Sclerotinia | Bloom stage is non-negotiable timing for this disease. |
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Preventive Weather & Scouting-Based Timing
Combine regular early-season field scouting with preventive applications ahead of forecasted wet weather periods to manage rusts and Fusarium head blight in wheat.
2. Canopy Humidity & Bloom Stage Protection
In soybeans, increase application frequency as dense canopy growth traps humidity favoring Cercospora. For oilseed rape, precisely target the full bloom stage to protect against Sclerotinia infection.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; prevent chemical drift or runoff into nearby waterways, streams, and ponds. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from foodstuffs and animal feed.
