Product Information

Mode of Action

Propanil: Acts as a contact herbicide inhibiting photosynthesis by blocking electron transport in photosystem II, causing immediate chlorosis and necrosis.
Thiobencarb: Absorbed through shoots and roots, inhibiting cell division and growth by interfering with lipid biosynthesis. It provides residual soil activity to prevent further weed emergence.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa crus-galli & Echinochloa colona
  • Cyperus difformis (Sedge)
  • Monochoria vaginalis
  • Leptochloa chinensis

Recommended Dosage

Application Instructions

1. Mixing
This product is an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC). Add the required quantity (3.0-3.5 L) to the spray tank filled with water while stirring. Ensure the mixture is uniform before application.
2. Timing of Application
Apply as a post-emergence spray when weeds are in the early growth stages (2-3 leaf stage). For best results in rice, drain the field before application to expose weeds to the spray and re-flood 1-2 days later.

Safety Precautions

Warning: Use personal protective equipment (gloves, mask, goggles). Propanil can be phytotoxic if mixed with certain organophosphate insecticides; avoid applying organophosphates shortly before or after herbicide treatment. Toxic to fish.
