PROCHLORAZ 24% + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN 8% EW

An oil-in-water emulsion fungicide combining the systemic activity of prochloraz with the preventive activity of trifloxystrobin for broad-spectrum disease control.

Target Diseases
Rice Blast, Sheath Blight, Anthracnose, Powdery Mildew & Leaf Spots
Mode of Action
Ergosterol Biosynthesis Blockade (DMI) + Cytochrome bc1 Respiration Inhibition (QoI)
Use Sites
Rice, Cereals, Vegetables, Fruit Crops
Active: Prochloraz + Trifloxystrobin Formulation: EW (Emulsion, Oil in Water) Systemic DMI + Preventive QoI Dual Action Disease Control

Product Information

Mode of Action

Prochloraz inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the CYP51 enzyme, resulting in impaired fungal cell membrane formation (FRAC Group 3 – DMI fungicides). Trifloxystrobin inhibits electron transport within fungal mitochondria by acting on the cytochrome bc1 complex, preventing ATP synthesis and fungal growth (FRAC Group 11 – QoI fungicides).

Target Diseases
  • Rice blast
  • Sheath blight
  • Anthracnose
  • Powdery mildew
  • Leaf spots

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Disease Application Guidance
Rice Blast, sheath blight Protect the crop through the vulnerable panicle-emergence stage.
Vegetables Anthracnose Concentrate spray on fruit and stem surfaces, the typical infection points.
Fruit crops Powdery mildew Shift to shorter intervals once warm, dry afternoons follow humid mornings.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Critical Growth Stage & Surface Targeted Protection
In rice fields, ensure timely protective sprays around the panicle-emergence stage to shield against blast and sheath blight. For vegetable crops, direct spray volume specifically to fruit and stem surfaces to cover primary anthracnose entry sites.
2. Weather-Responsive Scheduling
Tighten application intervals in fruit orchards during environmental conditions characterized by humid mornings followed by warm, dry afternoons that drive rapid powdery mildew multiplication.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; avoid chemical runoff or spray drift into nearby water bodies, streams, and ponds. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from foodstuffs and animal feed.
