PICOXYSTROBIN 7.05% + PROPICONAZOLE 11.7% SC

PICOXYSTROBIN + PROPICONAZOLE Bottle
Strobilurin + Triazole Fungicide

PICOXYSTROBIN 7.05% + PROPICONAZOLE 11.7% SC

A balanced combination fungicide pairing strobilurin and triazole chemistry for broad-spectrum disease control. It delivers both protective and curative activity with excellent systemic movement and long residual action across Rice, Wheat, Soybean, and Onion crops.

Target Disease
Blights, Rusts, Smuts
Mode of Action
Respiration + Ergosterol Block
Crops
Rice, Wheat, Soybean
Active: Picoxystrobin + Propiconazole Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Picoxystrobin blocks mitochondrial respiration at the Qo site of Complex III, halting ATP energy production. [Image of picoxystrobin mode of action mitochondrial respiration] Propiconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking C14-demethylase, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity. [Image of propiconazole mode of action ergosterol biosynthesis inhibition] This complementary dual action provides strong preventive, curative, and anti-sporulant effects.

Target Diseases
  • Rice: Sheath blight, False smut, Dirty Panicle
  • Wheat: Yellow Rust
  • Soybean: Alternaria Leaf Spot, Frog Eye Leaf Spot
  • Onion: Purple Blotch
Key Benefits

Offers comprehensive disease suppression with superior translaminar and acropetal movement, ensuring protection of new growth.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage (ml/Ha) Water (L/Ha) PHI (Days)
Paddy (Rice) Sheath Blight, False Smut, Dirty Panicle 1000 500 24
Wheat Yellow Rust 1000 500 52
Soybean Alternaria & Frog Eye Leaf Spot 1000 500 32
Onion Purple Blotch 1000 500 30
Dosage Note: The recommended rate is consistent across these crops at 1000 ml (1 Liter) per hectare.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at early disease stages or during critical crop growth periods (e.g., panicle initiation in rice, jointing/booting in wheat). For False Smut in rice, timing is critical before flowering.
2. Resistance Management
Combines Group 11 (QoI) and Group 3 (DMI). This dual-action mechanism is highly effective for resistance management, but good agricultural practice recommends rotation with other groups.

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Strict adherence to PHI is critical due to the long persistence of Propiconazole, especially in Wheat (52 days) and Soybean (32 days).

Handling: Wear standard protective clothing. Avoid spraying near water bodies.
