PICOXYSTROBIN 10% + PROPICONAZOLE 20% SC

PICOXYSTROBIN + PROPICONAZOLE Bottle
Strobilurin + Triazole Fungicide

PICOXYSTROBIN 10% + PROPICONAZOLE 20% SC

A broad-spectrum fungicidal combination belonging to the QoI and DMI classes. It offers both protective and early curative action against a wide range of fungal pathogens. The complementary modes of action significantly reduce the risk of resistance development.

Target Disease
Mildews, Blights, Rust
Mode of Action
Respiration + Ergosterol Block
Crops
Grapes, Veg, Cereals
Active: Picoxystrobin + Propiconazole Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Picoxystrobin (QoI) interferes with fungal respiration at the Qo site of Complex III, obstructing electron transfer and stopping ATP formation. Propiconazole (DMI) inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase enzyme, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation. The combined effect causes rapid growth arrest and fungal death.

Target Diseases
  • Powdery mildew
  • Downy mildew
  • Early blight and Late blight
  • Leaf spots
  • Anthracnose
  • Rust diseases
Key Benefits

Extended residual protection due to the complementary systemic properties of both active ingredients. Excellent tool for resistance management.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage / Ha Water (L/Ha)
Grapes Powdery & Downy Mildew 400 – 500 ml 500 – 1000
Chilli / Tomato Early Blight, Anthracnose 400 – 500 ml 500
Potatoes Early & Late Blight 400 – 500 ml 500
Cereals Rust, Leaf Spots 400 – 500 ml 400 – 500
Dosage Note: The recommended rate is 400-500 ml per hectare, or a concentration of 0.1% (1 ml per Liter of water).

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply preventively or at the very early signs of disease. Repeat applications every 10-14 days depending on disease pressure.
2. Resistance Management
Combines Group 11 (QoI) and Group 3 (DMI). This dual mode of action is excellent for delaying resistance, but always rotate with other chemical groups where possible.

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Ensure adherence to local PHI regulations, typically 5-15 days depending on the crop.

Handling: Wear standard protective clothing. Do not apply near water bodies as strobilurins can be toxic to aquatic life.
