Product Information

Mode of Action

Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that acts as a potent contact insecticide. It disrupts the normal function of the insect’s nervous system by interfering with sodium channels in nerve membranes. This causes repetitive nerve firing, leading to hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death. The fine dust formulation ensures deep penetration into cracks, crevices, and harbourages where pests hide.

Target Pests
  • Cockroaches (Blattella germanica, Periplaneta americana)
  • Ants (various species)
  • Bed bugs (Cimex lectularius)
  • Fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.)
  • Ticks (Ixodidae family)
Key Benefits

Provides rapid knockdown of treated pests. Offers good residual activity for ongoing control. Low toxicity to mammals makes it suitable for various indoor applications when used as directed.

Application Areas

Suitable Locations
  • Residential buildings (homes, apartments)
  • Schools and Educational Institutions
  • Hospitals and Healthcare facilities
  • Hotels and Lodging
  • Food establishments (non-food contact areas)
  • Warehouses and Storage facilities
Application Focus

Ideal for treating cracks, crevices, wall voids, behind baseboards, under appliances, around window and door frames, and other pest harbourage sites.

Directions for Use

1. Preparation
Clean the area thoroughly before application to remove debris that might interfere with the dust. Identify key pest harbourage points. Ensure food and food preparation surfaces are covered or removed.
2. Application Technique
Apply a light, uniform coating of dust directly into cracks, crevices, and voids using a hand duster or puff duster. Avoid applying heavy piles of dust, as insects may avoid them. For bed bugs, treat bed frames, mattress seams, and furniture joints carefully.
3. Restrictions
Do not apply directly to food, feed, or food handling surfaces. Keep children and pets away from treated areas during application and until settled.

Safety & Storage

Precautions: Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes. Wear a suitable dust mask and gloves during application. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Toxic to aquatic organisms and bees.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area in the original tightly closed container. Keep away from direct sunlight, food, animal feed, and out of reach of children.
