Product Information

Mode of Action

Oxaziclomefone (HRAC Group 13) inhibits seedling development and early weed growth, preventing cell division and shoot establishment. Cyhalofop-butyl (HRAC Group 1) inhibits the Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, blocking fatty acid synthesis in grassy weeds. Their combined action delivers rapid knockdown, extended residual activity, and long-lasting weed control in rice.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyardgrass)
  • Echinochloa colona (Jungle Rice)
  • Leptochloa chinensis
  • Ischaemum rugosum
  • Annual and mixed grassy weeds

Recommended Application Guidance

Recommended Crops Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Rice Annual grassy weeds Apply as an early post-emergence spray as per the recommended label dosage with uniform spray coverage.
Rice Mixed grassy weeds Apply when weeds are at the 2–4 leaf stage for optimum weed control.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local water carrier recommendations in transplanted and direct-seeded rice, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Early Post-Emergence Timing (2–4 Leaf Stage)
Apply as an early post-emergence foliar spray when target grassy weeds are actively growing in the 2–4 leaf stage to ensure maximum herbicide absorption and effective weed knockdown.
2. Uniform Coverage & Water Management
Ensure uniform spray coverage across the paddy using calibrated spraying equipment. Follow recommended field water management practices before and after application to optimize chemical activity.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
