Product Information

Mode of Action

Nitenpyram acts as a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist, causing rapid paralysis and knockdown. Pymetrozine blocks stylet penetration, causing immediate cessation of feeding and starvation. This combined action provides both shock effect and long-term suppression.

Target Pests
  • Aphids (Aphis gossypii, Myzus persicae)
  • Whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci)
  • Brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens)
  • Jassids (Amrasca biguttula)
  • Psyllids (Diaphorina citri)
Key Benefits

The Oil Dispersion (OD) technology improves retention on leaves and rainfastness, ensuring efficacy even under challenging weather conditions.

Recommended Dosage

Crops Target Pest Dosage / Ha (ml) Formulation (ml)
Cotton Aphids, Whiteflies, Jassids 400 – 500 400 – 500
Rice Brown planthopper, Aphids 350 – 450 350 – 450
Vegetables Aphids, Whiteflies 350 – 450 350 – 450
Fruits Aphids, Psyllids 400 – 500 400 – 500
Dosage Note: Dosage rates vary slightly by crop (350ml to 500ml per hectare). Ensure the correct rate is used based on pest pressure.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at the first sign of pest infestation. The rapid knockdown effect of Nitenpyram quickly reduces the adult population, while Pymetrozine stops feeding damage immediately.
2. OD Formulation Handling
As an Oil Dispersion, shake the bottle well before use. The oil component helps the product stick to the waxy cuticle of pests and leaves, providing superior rainfastness.

Safety Precautions

Pollinator Safety: Pymetrozine is generally selective, but Nitenpyram is a neonicotinoid. Avoid spraying during active bee foraging hours.

Handling: Wear standard protective clothing. Avoid skin contact and inhalation of spray mist.
