Product Information

Mode of Action

Mefenacet (HRAC Group 15) inhibits very long-chain fatty acid (VLCFA) biosynthesis, halting seedling cell division during germination. Oxaziclomefone (HRAC Group 13) inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis, suppressing early weed development. Pyrazosulfuron-ethyl (HRAC Group 2) inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), preventing essential amino acid synthesis in broadleaf weeds and sedges. Their combined triple action delivers long-lasting residual control in paddy environments.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa spp. (Barnyardgrass)
  • Cyperus difformis
  • Fimbristylis miliacea
  • Monochoria vaginalis
  • Ludwigia spp.
  • Marsilea quadrifolia
  • Annual grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds

Recommended Application Guidance

Recommended Crops Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Transplanted Rice Annual grasses, sedges & broadleaf weeds Apply uniformly as a granular pre-emergence or early post-emergence treatment (3–7 days after transplanting) at the recommended label dosage. Maintain a shallow water layer in the field after application for optimum weed control.
For specific kg/ha dosage rates and local water management protocols in transplanted paddy, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Granular Broadcasting Window (3–7 Days Post-Transplanting)
Broadcast granules uniformly across transplanted rice fields 3 to 7 days after transplanting during the pre-emergence or early post-emergence window of weed growth.
2. Shallow Paddy Water Management
Maintain a shallow standing water layer (3–5 cm) in the field during and after application for several days to ensure optimal chemical distribution and maintain the protective soil chemical barrier.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, measuring, and broadcasting. Avoid chemical drainage or runoff into surrounding surface waters, fish ponds, or non-target aquatic environments. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
