Active: Kasugamycin + Thifluzamide Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Kasugamycin (Antibiotic) inhibits protein synthesis at the ribosomal level, providing bactericidal and fungicidal activity. Thifluzamide (SDHI) blocks the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme in fungal respiration complex II. Together, they provide comprehensive control of the fungal-bacterial disease complex.

Target Diseases
  • Rice blast (Pyricularia oryzae)
  • Sheath blight (Rhizoctonia solani)
  • Bacterial leaf blight
  • Bacterial grain rot
Key Benefits

Simultaneous control of Blast (Fungal) and Bacterial Leaf Blight, reducing the need for separate sprays. Enhances plant vigor.

Recommended Dosage

Crop(s) Disease Dosage / Ha (ml) Water (L/Ha) PHI (Days)
Paddy (Rice) Blast & Sheath Blight 300 – 345 500 17
Application Note: Dosage is 300-345 ml per hectare. Ensure the correct dilution in 500 Liters of water for optimal coverage.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at disease initiation or during critical growth stages (Tillering to Booting). Early application prevents the spread of Sheath Blight up the culm.
2. Integrated Management
Use this product as part of an Integrated Disease Management (IDM) program. Its dual mode of action helps in managing resistance issues in Rice Blast.

Safety Precautions

Handling: Contains antibiotic chemistry. Wear gloves and a mask during application to prevent inhalation and skin contact.

Harvest Interval: Adhere to the 17-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) to ensure grain safety.
