Mode of Action
Icaridin (Picaridin) is an insect repellent and is not classified as an insecticide by IRAC. It interferes with the olfactory receptors of mosquitoes and other biting insects, reducing their ability to detect human host odors and locate a blood meal.
Target Pests & Application
- Mosquitoes (including disease vectors)
- Biting midges & flies
- Ticks and other nuisance biting insects
- Outdoor leisure, travel, and camping
- Workplaces in insect-prone environments
Recommended Application
| Site | Target | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Exposed skin | Mosquitoes and other biting insects | Wipe evenly over exposed skin according to label directions. Reapply as recommended to maintain protection. |
Do not apply under clothing or over cuts, wounds, sunburned, or irritated skin. Reapply after heavy sweating, water exposure, or as directed on the packaging.
Application Instructions
1. Application on Skin
Remove a pre-saturated wipe from the container and reseal the lid immediately to maintain moisture. Wipe evenly across all exposed skin surfaces (arms, legs, neck). For facial application, avoid direct contact with eyes, mouth, and nostrils.
2. Ready-to-Use (RW) Convenience
Pre-dosed format eliminates measuring, accidental spills, and over-application. Non-greasy, low-odor formulation that will not damage plastics, synthetic fabrics, or gear coatings.
3. Coex Bottle / Canister Packaging
Housed in barrier-protected Coex containers with secure seal-tight caps to preserve volatile repellent components and maintain long-term wipe saturation.
Safety & Environmental Care
For external personal use only. Keep out of reach of children; when applying on children, have an adult wipe the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; in case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. Do not flush used wipes down toilets; dispose of with ordinary household waste. Store container tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
