MANDIPROPAMID + OXATHIAPIPROLIN Bottle
Premium Oomycete Fungicide

MANDIPROPAMID 25% + OXATHIAPIPROLIN 3% SC

A premium fungicide combination pairing a CAA fungicide with a novel OSBP inhibitor. It delivers exceptional disease control with ultra-low use rates, excellent rainfastness, and strong translaminar and systemic properties for Grapes, Potatoes, and Vegetables.

Target Disease
Downy Mildew, Late Blight
Mode of Action
Cell Wall + Lipid Block
Crops
Grapes, Potato, Tomato
Active: Mandipropamid + Oxathiapiprolin Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Translaminar

Product Information

Mode of Action

Mandipropamid (FRAC 40) inhibits cellulose synthase, preventing cell wall formation in oomycetes. [Image of cellulose synthase inhibition mechanism] Oxathiapiprolin (FRAC 49) targets the oxysterol-binding protein (OSBP), disrupting lipid metabolism and membrane biosynthesis. [Image of oxysterol binding protein inhibition mode of action] This unique dual action provides robust control against resistant strains.

Target Diseases
  • Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola, Pseudoperonospora cubensis) [Image of downy mildew on grapes]
  • Late blight (Phytophthora infestans)
  • Phytophthora diseases
  • Pythium species
Key Benefits

Excellent rainfastness means effectiveness is maintained even after rainfall shortly after application. Ultra-low use rates reduce chemical load.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage (ml/Ha) Concentration
Grapes Downy Mildew 150 – 200 0.03 – 0.04%
Potato Late Blight 150 – 200 0.03 – 0.04%
Tomato Late Blight 150 – 200 0.03 – 0.04%
Cucurbits Downy Mildew 150 – 200 0.03 – 0.04%
Dosage Note: The recommended rate is 150-200 ml per hectare. This equates to approximately 30-40 ml per 100 Liters of water (0.03-0.04%).

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply preventively before disease onset or at the very early stages of infection. The product’s residual activity works best when applied to healthy tissue.
2. Frequency
Repeat applications every 7-10 days under high disease pressure (high humidity, cool nights).

Safety Precautions

Resistance Management: Combines Group 40 (CAA) and Group 49 (OSBPI). This is an excellent tool for resistance management, but do not make more than 2 consecutive applications. Rotate with fungicides of different modes of action.

Harvest Interval: Adhere to local PHI regulations.
