Fungicide & Bactericide
FLUXAPYROXAD 4% + COPPER CALCIUM SULPHATE 73% WG
A water-dispersible granule fungicide combining the systemic SDHI fungicide fluxapyroxad with a copper-based multi-site protectant fungicide for broad-spectrum disease management and resistance management.
Target Diseases
Downy Mildew, Early & Late Blight, Bacterial Spot, Anthracnose
Mode of Action
SDHI Complex II Inhibition + Multi-site Contact Action
Use Sites
Vegetables, Fruit Crops, Potatoes, Vineyards
Active: Fluxapyroxad + Copper Calcium Sulphate
Formulation: WG (Water Dispersible Granule)
Systemic + Multi-Site Contact
Fungal & Bacterial Defense
Product Information
Mode of Action
Fluxapyroxad belongs to FRAC Group 7 (SDHI fungicides) and inhibits succinate dehydrogenase in fungal mitochondria, disrupting energy production. Copper calcium sulphate belongs to FRAC Group M1 (Multi-site contact fungicides). Released copper ions interfere with multiple enzyme systems and metabolic processes in fungal cells, delivering broad-spectrum protective activity.
Target Diseases
- Downy mildew
- Early blight
- Late blight
- Bacterial leaf spots
- Anthracnose
- Other fungal and bacterial diseases
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Disease | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Potato | Early blight, late blight | Treat before canopy closure — once foliage overlaps, spray penetration to lower leaves drops sharply. |
| Tomato | Early blight, bacterial spot | Don’t skip the undersides of leaves; both pathogens infect from splash-up soil contact. |
| Grapes | Downy mildew | Tighten the interval during wet, humid weather when sporulation accelerates. |
For specific g/ha or kg/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Pre-Canopy Timing & Underside Coverage
Apply before canopy closure in row crops like potatoes to ensure penetration to lower leaves. Ensure thorough coverage of leaf undersides, especially in tomatoes, where soil splash-up harbors pathogens like early blight and bacterial spot.
2. Weather-Based Interval Adjustment
Tighten application intervals during wet, humid periods when sporulation for pathogens like downy mildew accelerates rapidly. Ensure WG granules are thoroughly dispersed in clean water before spraying.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective clothing) during handling and spray preparation. Toxic to aquatic organisms; avoid spraying near water bodies and prevent chemical drift or runoff. Store in original sealed packaging in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from foodstuffs.
