FLUOPICOLIDE 4.44% + FOSETYL-AL 66.67% WDG

FLUOPICOLIDE + FOSETYL-AL WDG Bottle
Oomycete Fungicide

FLUOPICOLIDE 4.44% + FOSETYL-AL 66.67% WDG

An innovative fungicide combination providing multi-directional systemic movement for complete plant protection. It merges novel benzamide chemistry with a phosphonate compound to deliver comprehensive oomycete control and plant defense activation.

Target Disease
Downy Mildew, Late Blight
Mode of Action
Cytoskeleton + SAR
Crops
Grape, Veg, Potato
Active: Fluopicolide + Fosetyl-Al Formulation: WDG (Water Dispersible Granule) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Fluopicolide disrupts spectrin-like proteins which affects the stability of the cytoskeleton in oomycetes. [Image of oomycete cytoskeleton disruption mode of action] This interference halts cell division and fungal growth. Fosetyl-Al acts systemically with unique bidirectional movement (up and down) in the plant. It provides direct fungicidal activity and induces plant resistance by stimulating natural defense mechanisms (Systemic Acquired Resistance – SAR). Target Diseases
  • Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola, Pseudoperonospora cubensis)
  • Late blight (Phytophthora infestans)
  • Phytophthora root rot
Key Benefits

The unique combination allows for protection of new growth and roots simultaneously. Excellent resistance management tool.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage (kg/Ha) Water (L/Ha) PHI (Days)
Grape Downy Mildew 2.25 – 2.5 750 32
Dosage Note: The recommended rate for Grapes is 2.25 to 2.5 kg per hectare. While also effective on Vegetables and Potato, ensure you consult the local label for specific rates on those crops.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply preventively or at the very early stages of disease development. The SAR component (Fosetyl-Al) requires a healthy plant metabolism to trigger defense, so application before severe stress is ideal.
2. Coverage
Although it is highly systemic, good coverage ensures rapid uptake. The bidirectional movement helps protect roots from foliar application, which is a unique benefit for controlling Phytophthora root rot.

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Strict adherence to PHI is required, which is 32 days for Grapes.

Compatibility: Fosetyl-Al formulations can be acidic. Check compatibility before mixing with other products (especially copper).
