Advanced non-fumigant nematicide in a granular formulation. Offers effective systemic control of root-knot nematodes with significantly improved worker safety and lower environmental impact compared to traditional fumigants.

Target Pests
Root Knot Nematodes
Mode of Action
Neurological Disruption
Crops
Tomato, Okra, Pomegranate
Active: Fluensulfone Formulation: 2% GR (Granules) Action: Systemic & Contact

Product Information

Mode of Action

Fluensulfone is a true nematicide that disrupts neurological functions in nematodes. It impairs their motility and feeding behavior, inhibits reproduction, and prevents root galling. This allows the plant to develop a healthy root system unhindered by nematode stress.

Target Pests
  • Root Knot Nematode (Meloidogyne incognita)
  • Note: Inhibits egg hatching and larval development.

Recommended Dosage

CropPestRate per PlantRate per Hectare (kg/ha)
Tomato Root Knot Nematode 1.0 g / plant 22.2 – 25.6
Cucumber Root Knot Nematode 1.0 g / plant 8.0 – 10.0
Okra Root Knot Nematode 1.0 g / plant 40.0 – 45.5
Pomegranate Root Knot Nematode 10.0 g / dripper (40 g/plant)
Dosage Note: Application rates vary based on planting density. For Pomegranate, the rate is significantly higher due to plant size (approx 40g per plant total).

Application Instructions

1. Application Method
Vegetables: Apply granules to the soil at the time of planting or transplanting. Incorporate into the root zone for best uptake.
Pomegranate: Apply near the root zone or drippers where water delivery ensures movement into the soil profile.
2. Watering
Light irrigation after application helps dissolve the granules and move the active ingredient into the root zone where nematodes reside.

Safety Precautions

Safety Advantage: Unlike traditional fumigants, Fluensulfone is a granular formulation that is much safer for workers to handle and has a lower environmental impact. However, standard PPE (gloves, mask) should still be worn during handling.
