Mode of Action
Flocoumafen inhibits the vitamin K epoxide reductase enzyme, preventing blood clotting factor synthesis. This causes internal hemorrhaging and leads to death 4-7 days after consumption. Its potency ensures that a single feeding provides a lethal dose.
