FENOXANIL 5% + ISOPROTHIOLANE 30% EC

FENOXANIL + ISOPROTHIOLANE EC Bottle
Rice Fungicide

FENOXANIL 5% + ISOPROTHIOLANE 30% EC

A specialized combination fungicide for rice blast control, combining phenoxy-quinoline and isothiazolone chemistry. It provides both protective and curative activity against all stages of blast development with strong systemic movement.

Target Disease
Leaf Blast, Neck Blast
Mode of Action
Melanin + Lipid Block
Crops
Paddy (Rice)
Active: Fenoxanil + Isoprothiolane Formulation: EC (Emulsifiable Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Fenoxanil inhibits fungal melanin biosynthesis, which is crucial for the pathogen to form the appressorium (infection peg) needed to penetrate the leaf. [Image of rice blast appressorium formation inhibition] Isoprothiolane interferes with phospholipid biosynthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation and integrity. [Image of fungal cell membrane disruption mechanism] This dual attack stops both early infection and established mycelial growth.

Target Diseases
  • Rice Blast (Pyricularia oryzae) – Leaf Blast and Neck Blast
  • Sheath Blight (Rhizoctonia solani)
Key Benefits

Specifically tailored for Rice Blast management, providing excellent control of neck blast which directly impacts yield.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage (ml/Ha) Water (L/Ha)
Paddy (Rice) Leaf Blast, Neck Blast, Sheath Blight 750 – 1000 ml 500 L
Dosage Note: Use 750-1000 ml per hectare. Ensure adequate water volume (500 liters) to thoroughly cover the canopy, especially for Sheath Blight control at the base of the plant.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at the panicle initiation stage or at the first appearance of disease symptoms. Early application is critical for Neck Blast prevention.
2. Frequency
For severe blast pressure, apply two sprays at an interval of 10-12 days.

Safety Precautions

Handling: This is an EC formulation. Wear protective gloves and eye protection during mixing to avoid skin/eye irritation.

Environment: Do not apply near aquaculture ponds as Isoprothiolane can be sensitive to certain aquatic organisms.
