Broad-Spectrum Fungicide
FAMOXADONE 16.6% + CYMOXANIL 22.1% SC
Broad-spectrum fungicide combining strobilurin and cyanoacetamide chemistry. Provides excellent preventive and curative control with strong anti-sporulant activity and translaminar movement for enhanced crop protection.
Target Diseases
Blight & Downy Mildew
Mode of Action
Respiration + Metabolic Inh.
Crops
Grapes, Tomato, Potato
Active: Famoxadone + Cymoxanil
Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate)
Action: Preventive & Curative
Product Information
Mode of Action
Famoxadone: Inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transfer at the Qo site (preventive action).
Cymoxanil: Provides rapid translaminar and curative action by disrupting multiple metabolic processes.
This combination ensures both protective shielding and eradication of early infections.
Target Diseases
- Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola, Pseudoperonospora cubensis)
- Late blight (Phytophthora infestans)
- Early Blight
- Anthracnose
Recommended Dosage
| Crop | Disease | Dosage (ml/ha) | Water (L/ha) | PHI (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grapes | Downy Mildew | 500 | 500 – 750 | 27 |
| Potato | Late Blight | 500 | 500 | 40 |
| Tomato | Early & Late Blight | 500 | 500 | 3 |
| Gherkin | Downy Mildew | 500 | 500 – 750 | 3 |
Dosage refers to ml of formulation per hectare. PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval (Waiting period in days).
Application Instructions
1. Timing
Apply at early disease detection or preventively when weather conditions favor disease development. Early application maximizes the preventive benefits of Famoxadone.
2. Frequency
Repeat applications every 7-10 days depending on disease pressure and rainfall. Ensure thorough coverage of the foliage for the translaminar action to be effective.
Safety Precautions
Warning: Wear personal protective equipment (gloves, mask, goggles). Strictly observe the Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI) for each crop, especially for Grapes (27 days) and Potato (40 days). Toxic to aquatic organisms.
