Product Information

Mode of Action

Dinotefuran acts as an agonist at the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect central nervous system. It mimics the neurotransmitter acetylcholine but cannot be broken down by enzymes. This causes continuous overstimulation of the nervous system, leading to tremors, paralysis, and rapid death. It is highly water-soluble, allowing for systemic movement within plants (if used in ag) or excellent surface coverage.

Usage Type

Primarily used for Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) and perimeter treatments to create a chemical barrier against crawling and flying insects.

Directions for Use

1. Mixing
Dilute the required quantity of granules in water. Agitate to ensure the granules are fully dissolved. The WG formulation mixes easily and stays in suspension.
2. Application Technique
Apply as a coarse, low-pressure spray (spot or crack & crevice treatment) to areas where pests hide or travel. For flies and mosquitoes, treat walls, ceilings, and resting surfaces.
3. Re-entry
Allow the treated surfaces to dry completely before re-entering the area. This usually takes 1-2 hours depending on ventilation.

Safety & Storage

Precautions: Do not apply to surfaces where food is prepared. Highly toxic to bees; do not apply to blooming plants.

Handling: Wear gloves, mask, and eye protection. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

Storage: Store in the original container in a cool, dry place. Keep tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption.
