Product Information

Mode of Action

Deltamethrin acts on insect sodium channels, disrupting normal nerve transmission. [Image of sodium channel disruption] This causes continuous hyperexcitation, feeding inhibition, paralysis, and rapid mortality of target pests. It acts primarily by contact and ingestion.

Target Pests
  • Bollworms, Fruit Borers, Shoot Borers
  • Jassids, Aphids, Hoppers
  • Thrips, Leaf miners
  • Leaf folders, Loopers
Key Benefits

Provides a “knockdown” effect and anti-feeding properties, preventing further crop damage immediately after application.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at the first sign of pest incidence. For borers, prophylactic or early curative sprays are most effective before larvae enter the fruit or stem.
2. Method
Ensure thorough coverage of both upper and lower leaf surfaces. For Mango hoppers, cover the entire canopy and inflorescence.

Safety Precautions

Environmental Safety: Highly toxic to aquatic organisms and bees. Avoid application near water bodies and during active bee foraging.

Handling: Wear protective gear (gloves, mask) to avoid skin contact and inhalation, as pyrethroids can cause skin paresthesia (tingling/burning sensation).
