A novel systemic fungicide specifically formulated to target Powdery Mildew. It exhibits excellent vapor activity and translaminar movement, providing superior control even on untreated plant surfaces and new growth.
Target Disease
Powdery Mildew
Mode of Action
Signal Transduction Block
Crops
Grapes, Chilli, Pulses
Active: Cyflufenamid
Formulation: EW (Emulsion, Oil in Water)
Action: Systemic & Vapor
Product Information
Mode of Action
Cyflufenamid has a unique mode of action that inhibits fungal signal transduction pathways. [Image of fungal signal transduction pathway inhibition] This disrupts the cellular processes required for powdery mildew development. Additionally, its strong vapor-phase activity allows it to redistribute within the canopy to protect untreated surfaces and new growth.
Target Diseases
- Powdery Mildew (Erysiphe necator) – Grapes
- Powdery Mildew (Leveillula taurica) – Chilli
- Powdery Mildew (Podosphaera xanthii) – Cucurbits
- Powdery Mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) – Apple
- Powdery Mildew in Blackgram
Key Benefits
Excellent translaminar movement ensures control on the underside of leaves. Vapor action helps in dense canopies where spray coverage is difficult.
Recommended Dosage
| Crop | Disease | Dosage (ml/Ha) | Water (L/Ha) | PHI (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chilli | Powdery Mildew (Leveillula taurica) | 300 | 375 – 500 | 05 |
| Grapes | Powdery Mildew (Uncinula necator) | 500 | 400 – 1000 | 25 |
| Black Gram | Powdery Mildew | 500 | 375 – 500 | 24 |
Dosage Note:
Chilli: 300 ml/ha
Grapes & Black Gram: 500 ml/ha
Application Instructions
1. Timing
Apply preventively or at the very first sign of powdery mildew symptoms. Its vapor activity helps reach hidden parts of the plant, but good initial coverage is still recommended.
2. Resistance Management
Cyflufenamid belongs to Group U6. It has a unique mode of action, making it an excellent tool for rotation with DMI (Triazoles) or QoI (Strobilurins) to manage resistance.
Safety Precautions
Harvest Interval: Adhere strictly to PHI: 5 days for Chilli, 24 days for Black Gram, and 25 days for Grapes.
Handling: Wear standard protective clothing. Avoid inhalation of spray mist.
