FRAC Group M1 / Multi-Site Contact Enzyme Disruption
Use Sites
Citrus, Tomatoes, Vegetables, Fruit, Plantation & Nursery Crops
Active: Cuprous Oxide Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Multi-Site Action Low Resistance Risk

Product Information

Mode of Action

Cuprous oxide gradually releases copper ions, which interact with multiple enzymes and proteins within fungal and bacterial cells. This disrupts essential metabolic processes and prevents pathogen development. Due to its multi-site contact activity, the risk of resistance development is low (FRAC Group M1 – Inorganic Copper Fungicides).

Target Diseases
  • Downy mildew
  • Bacterial leaf spot
  • Citrus canker
  • Anthracnose
  • Early blight
  • Leaf spots

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Disease Application Guidance
Citrus Citrus canker Time sprays around new flush growth and after wind/rain events that spread bacteria.
Tomato Bacterial spot, early blight Shorten the interval during extended wet spells that favor both pathogens.
Vegetables Leaf spots Reassess coverage frequency as new growth emerges through the season.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Timing Flush Growth & Weather Events
Align sprays with new flush growth stages in citrus crops and re-apply promptly following wind and rain events that disperse bacterial pathogens like citrus canker.
2. Continuous Coverage & Wet Spell Intervals
Shorten spray intervals during prolonged wet weather conditions that accelerate fungal and bacterial infection. Continuously monitor and protect newly emerging foliage throughout the growing season.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, overalls) during spray preparation and application. Toxic to aquatic organisms; prevent spray drift or chemical runoff into water bodies, drainage ditches, and ponds. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
