Mode of Action

Clothianidin acts as an agonist that binds irreversibly to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect central nervous system. This causes persistent stimulation of the nerve cells, leading to paralysis and death. It exhibits high affinity for insect receptors and low affinity for mammalian receptors.

  • Brown Plant Hopper (BPH)
  • Jassids, Whitefly, Thrips
  • Termite (Soil Drench)
  • Mosquito Bug (Tea)

Application Instructions

1. Mixing
This product is a Water Dispersible Granule (WG). Premix the granules in a small bucket of water to ensure they dissolve completely before adding to the main tank.
2. Application Method
Foliar: For Rice, Cotton, and Tea, apply as a foliar spray ensuring good coverage.
Soil Drench: For Sugarcane, Grapes, and Groundnut, apply as a soil drench around the root zone. The systemic action allows roots to absorb the active ingredient and protect the plant from within.

Safety Precautions

Warning: Neonicotinoids can be toxic to bees. Avoid spraying during peak flowering periods or when bees are actively foraging. Wear protective clothing during application.
