Use Sites / Crops
Soybean, Groundnut, Pulses
Active: Clomazone + Fomesafen + Quizalofop-P-ethyl Formulation: OD (Oil Dispersion) Pre- & Early Post-Emergence Triple HRAC Group 13 + 14 + 1 Action

Product Information

Mode of Action

Clomazone (HRAC Group 13) inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis, resulting in tissue bleaching of emerging weeds. Fomesafen (HRAC Group 14) inhibits protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO), causing rapid cell membrane disruption and contact necrosis in broadleaf weeds. Quizalofop-P-ethyl (HRAC Group 1) inhibits acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), providing systemic control and fatty acid synthesis blockade in annual and perennial grasses. Their multi-site action delivers balanced pre- and post-emergence control.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyardgrass)
  • Digitaria sanguinalis (Crabgrass)
  • Setaria spp. (Foxtails)
  • Eleusine indica (Goosegrass)
  • Amaranthus spp. (Pigweed)
  • Chenopodium album
  • Commelina benghalensis
  • Portulaca oleracea

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Soybean, Groundnut & Pulses Annual grasses and broadleaf weeds Apply as a pre-emergence or early post-emergence spray at the recommended label dosage. Ensure uniform spray coverage and adequate soil moisture for optimum residual and foliar weed control.
For specific L/ha or ml/ha dosage rates and local water volume recommendations across soybean, groundnut, and pulse crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Pre- or Early Post-Emergence Timing
Apply as a pre-emergence soil treatment after sowing or as an early post-emergence foliar spray when target weed seedlings are small and actively growing for optimum knockdown and residual performance.
2. Soil Moisture & Uniform Spray Coverage
Ensure adequate soil surface moisture at application to activate the residual Clomazone and Fomesafen barrier. Maintain calibrated, uniform spray distribution to ensure maximum foliar uptake by germinating grass and broadleaf weeds.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and nearby aquatic habitats. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
