Mode of Action
Clodinafop inhibits the acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase) enzyme, effectively blocking fatty acid biosynthesis essential for cell membrane formation. This interruption stops weed development at the cellular level.
Efficacy Timeline
- Growth Cessation: Occurs within 1-3 days after application.
- Complete Weed Death: Achieved within 15-20 days.
