Combination Insecticide

CHLORANTRANILIPROLE 15% + CHLORFENAPYR 10% SC

A powerful combination insecticide delivering rapid knockdown and long residual action on lepidopteran and mite pests. It combines systemic activity with strong contact action for comprehensive control.

Target Pest
Lepidoptera & Mites
Mode of Action
Muscle + Energy Block
Crops
Maize, Cotton, Veg, Rice
Active: Chlorantraniliprole + Chlorfenapyr Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Contact

Product Information

Mode of Action

Chlorantraniliprole activates ryanodine receptors causing uncontrolled calcium release, resulting in muscle contraction, paralysis, and feeding cessation. [Image of insect ryanodine receptor mode of action] Chlorfenapyr acts as an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation. It disrupts the proton gradient in mitochondria, preventing ATP synthesis, leading to cellular failure and death. [Image of oxidative phosphorylation uncoupling mode of action]

Target Pests
  • Pink Bollworm, American Bollworm
  • Corn Borer, Stem Borer
  • Beet Armyworm, Pod Borer
  • Mites (Secondary control)
Key Benefits

The dual action provides both rapid knockdown (Chlorfenapyr) and long-lasting residual control (Chlorantraniliprole).

Recommended Application

Crop Target Pest Dosage

Maize Fall Armyworm, Corn Borer Refer to Leaflet

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply at the early larval stages (instars 1-3) for best results. The combination ensures that larvae stop feeding quickly and die within a few days.
2. Coverage
Chlorfenapyr works primarily by contact and ingestion but has limited systemic movement compared to Chlorantraniliprole. Ensure thorough coverage of the foliage for maximum contact efficacy.

Safety Precautions

Handling: Chlorfenapyr is a pro-insecticide that becomes active inside the pest, but it can be toxic. Use full personal protective equipment (PPE).

Resistance Management: Combines Group 28 (Diamides) and Group 13 (Pyrroles). Excellent for breaking resistance cycles.
