Product Information

Mode of Action

Bromadiolone is a second-generation anticoagulant. It works by inhibiting the enzyme vitamin K epoxide reductase, which is essential for synthesizing blood clotting factors. A single feeding provides a lethal dose. The rodent dies from internal hemorrhaging 4-7 days after consumption. This delayed action is crucial as it prevents “bait shyness,” ensuring other rodents continue to feed.

Target Pests
  • Norway Rat (Rattus norvegicus)
  • Roof Rat (Rattus rattus)
  • House Mouse (Mus musculus)
  • Bandicoot Rat (Bandicota bengalensis)
Key Benefits

Effective against rodents resistant to older anticoagulants. Ready-to-use formulation requires no mixing. Palatable bait matrix ensures high acceptance. Single-feed lethality means less bait is required overall.

Application Areas

Suitable Locations
  • Residential buildings and compounds
  • Commercial premises (offices, retail)
  • Industrial facilities and warehouses
  • Agricultural storage and farm buildings
  • Municipal rodent control programs
Placement Strategy

Place bait along walls, in corners, near burrows, and in areas where rodent droppings, gnawing, or runways are observed.

Directions for Use

1. Survey and Preparation
Survey the area to identify rodent infestation sites. Remove alternative food sources if possible. Do not touch bait with bare hands, as human scent can repel rodents; wear gloves.
2. Bait Placement
For safety, always place bait inside tamper-resistant bait stations to prevent access by children, pets, and non-target wildlife. Place bait stations at intervals of 5-10 meters for rats and 2-5 meters for mice along runways.
3. Monitoring and Replenishment
Inspect bait stations daily for the first week and replenish eaten bait. Continue baiting until signs of feeding have stopped. Collect and dispose of dead rodents safely.

Safety & Storage

DANGER: Poison. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and livestock. May be fatal if swallowed.

Antidote: Vitamin K1 is the specific antidote. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical attention immediately.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and locked area in the original container, away from food and animal feed.
