Product Information

Mode of Action

Acifluorfen (HRAC Group 14) inhibits the Protoporphyrinogen Oxidase (PPO) enzyme, causing rapid membrane disruption and cell desiccation in susceptible broadleaf weeds. Imazamox (HRAC Group 2) inhibits the Acetolactate Synthase (ALS) enzyme, halting the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids, stopping growth, and leading to weed death. This dual mode of action provides broad-spectrum control and delays resistance development.

Target Weeds
  • Amaranthus spp.
  • Chenopodium spp.
  • Commelina spp.
  • Euphorbia spp.
  • Digitaria spp.
  • Echinochloa spp.
  • Cyperus spp.
  • Annual broadleaf and grassy weeds

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop / Area Target Pests / Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Soybean Broadleaf weeds Apply as a post-emergence foliar spray when weeds are in the 2–4 leaf stage for optimum control.
Groundnut Annual broadleaf and grassy weeds Spray uniformly using the recommended quantity of water to ensure complete weed coverage.
Pulses Mixed weed flora Apply during the early stages of weed growth. Avoid spraying on stressed crops or before expected rainfall.
Food Processing Units Broadleaf and grassy weeds Use as directed on the approved label and follow recommended agronomic practices for effective weed management.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local spray volume recommendations across crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Early Stage Foliar Spraying (2–4 Leaf Stage)
Apply as a post-emergence foliar spray when targeted broadleaf and grassy weeds are actively growing in the 2–4 leaf stage. Early intervention maximizes herbicide efficacy and minimizes weed competition.
2. Uniform Spray Coverage & Rain Conditions
Ensure thorough and uniform foliar coverage using standard flat-fan nozzles and adequate carrier water volume. Avoid application if heavy rainfall is expected shortly or if crops are under environmental stress (drought, waterlogging).

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
