Product Information

Mode of Action

Oryzalin (HRAC Group 3) inhibits microtubule assembly, stopping cell division in germinating weeds. Topramezone (HRAC Group 27) inhibits HPPD (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase), disrupting carotenoid biosynthesis and leading to bleaching and necrosis. Propisochlor (HRAC Group 15) inhibits very-long-chain fatty acid (VLCFA) synthesis, halting weed seedling emergence and shoot establishment.

Target Weeds
  • Echinochloa spp. (Barnyardgrass)
  • Digitaria sanguinalis (Crabgrass)
  • Amaranthus spp.
  • Chenopodium album
  • Setaria spp.
  • Annual grasses and broadleaf weeds

Recommended Application Guidance

Recommended Crops Target Weeds Dosage & Method of Application
Maize Annual grasses and broadleaf weeds Apply as a pre- or early post-emergence spray as per the recommended label dosage with uniform spray coverage.
Maize Mixed weed flora Apply during the early stage of weed growth for optimum weed control.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local water carrier recommendations in maize crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agricultural extension specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Pre- & Early Post-Emergence Timing
Apply as a pre-emergence or early post-emergence foliar spray when targeted annual grasses and broadleaf weeds are in their initial growth stages to achieve maximum weed suppression.
2. Uniform Spray Distribution
Ensure thorough and uniform spray coverage across the soil and young foliage using appropriately calibrated boom equipment and adequate spray water volume.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, face mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Avoid spray drift onto non-target crops and nearby water bodies. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
