Product Information
Mode of Action
Pyraclostrobin (FRAC Group 11 – QoI fungicides) inhibits mitochondrial electron transport, preventing ATP synthesis and fungal development. Epoxiconazole (FRAC Group 3 – DMI fungicides) inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase (CYP51) enzyme, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation.
Target Diseases
- Rusts
- Septoria leaf blotch
- Powdery mildew
- Net blotch
- Cercospora leaf spot
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Disease | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Rusts, Septoria | React at the earliest visible sign, or better, treat preventively ahead of forecasted risk periods. |
| Barley | Net blotch | Make sure spray reaches lower leaves, where net blotch typically initiates. |
| Soybean | Cercospora leaf spot | Step up the schedule once conditions turn consistently warm and humid. |
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Early Preventive Treatment & Disease Risk
Apply at the earliest visible symptom or preventively ahead of forecasted disease risk periods in wheat and cereal crops. Increase application frequency in soybeans during extended warm and humid conditions.
2. Canopy Penetration & Lower Foliage Coverage
Adjust spray equipment to ensure thorough coverage reaches lower canopy leaves, especially in barley where net blotch infections originate.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; avoid chemical runoff or spray drift into surface waters, streams, and ponds. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from foodstuffs.
