TRICYCLAZOLE 50% + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN 5% SC
Fungicide

TRICYCLAZOLE 50% + TRIFLOXYSTROBIN 5% SC

A systemic suspension concentrate fungicide combining the rice blast-specific activity of tricyclazole with the broad-spectrum preventive activity of trifloxystrobin. The combination provides effective disease control while supporting resistance management.

Target Diseases
Rice Blast (Leaf & Neck), Brown Spot & Sheath Diseases
Mode of Action
Melanin Biosynthesis Inhibition + Cytochrome bc1 Respiration Blockade
Use Sites
Rice & Registered Cereal Crops
Active: Tricyclazole + Trifloxystrobin Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Blast-Specific + Broad Spectrum Resistance Management Dual Action

Product Information

Mode of Action

Tricyclazole (FRAC Group 16) inhibits melanin biosynthesis in the appressoria of Magnaporthe oryzae, preventing fungal penetration into host tissues and suppressing disease establishment. Trifloxystrobin (FRAC Group 11) inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transport at the cytochrome bc1 complex, stopping ATP production and fungal growth.

Target Diseases
  • Rice blast (leaf blast and neck blast)
  • Brown spot
  • Sheath diseases (suppression)
  • Other susceptible fungal diseases

Recommended Application Guidance

Crop Target Disease Application Guidance
Rice Leaf blast, neck blast Neck blast timing is critical — protect the crop right at panicle emergence.
Rice Brown spot Adjust the schedule based on regional disease pressure reports and local advisory guidance.
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.

Application Instructions

1. Critical Panicle Emergence Timing
Apply precisely at boot to early panicle emergence to protect the crop against neck blast, as timing during this stage is vital to prevent yield loss.
2. Advisory-Guided Scheduling
For leaf blast, brown spot, and sheath suppression, align spray timing and repeat applications with regional disease alerts and local agricultural extension guidance.

Safety & Environmental Care

Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, protective suit) during handling, mixing, and application. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; avoid chemical drift or runoff into paddy outlets, surface waters, and streams. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location away from food, drink, and animal feed.
