Product Information
Mode of Action
Fluxapyroxad (FRAC Group 7 – SDHI fungicides) inhibits the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme, disrupting fungal mitochondrial respiration and ATP production. Epoxiconazole (FRAC Group 3 – DMI fungicides) inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the C14-demethylase (CYP51) enzyme required for fungal cell membrane formation.
Target Diseases
- Rusts
- Septoria leaf blotch
- Powdery mildew
- Net blotch
- Cercospora leaf spot
Recommended Application Guidance
| Crop | Target Disease | Application Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Wheat | Rusts, Septoria | Watch flag-leaf emergence closely — this is the growth stage most worth protecting. |
| Barley | Net blotch | Even distribution across lower and mid-canopy leaves matters more than upper-canopy coverage here. |
| Soybean | Cercospora leaf spot | Extend protection through pod-fill, when late-season infection can still reduce yield. |
For specific ml/ha dosage rates and local dilution guidelines across registered crops, please refer to the registered product label or consult local agronomic specialists.
Application Instructions
1. Stage-Critical Timing (Wheat & Soybean)
Time sprays around critical growth stages, such as flag-leaf emergence in wheat to protect top leaves. In soybeans, extend applications through the pod-fill stage to prevent late-season Cercospora yield loss.
2. Mid-Canopy Spray Penetration
Ensure application equipment is adjusted to drive spray droplets deep into lower and mid-canopy leaves, particularly in crops like barley where net blotch establishes beneath the upper canopy.
Safety & Environmental Care
Always wear proper personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask, overalls) during handling, mixing, and application. Toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects; prevent spray drift or runoff into surface waters, ditches, and ponds. Store in original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from foodstuffs.
