Mode of Action
Thiamethoxam acts as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect nervous system. This causes continuous nerve stimulation, leading to paralysis and death of the insect. Its excellent systemic movement ensures protection of both existing and new plant growth.
