FLUOPICOLIDE 5.56% + PROPAMOCARB HCl 55.6% SC

FLUOPICOLIDE + PROPAMOCARB HCl Bottle
Oomycete Fungicide

FLUOPICOLIDE 5.56% + PROPAMOCARB HCl 55.6% SC

A specialized oomycete fungicide combining novel benzamide and carbamate chemistry for superior disease suppression. It delivers strong systemic activity with rapid plant uptake and redistribution, ensuring complete canopy protection against Late Blight and Downy Mildew.

Target Disease
Late Blight, Downy Mildew
Mode of Action
Cytoskeleton + Membrane
Crops
Potato, Tomato, Cucurbits
Active: Fluopicolide + Propamocarb Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Curative

Product Information

Mode of Action

Fluopicolide has a novel mode of action that disrupts spectrin-like proteins, affecting the stability of the cytoskeleton in oomycetes. [Image of cytoskeleton disruption in fungal cells] Propamocarb HCl interferes with phospholipid biosynthesis and cell membrane permeability. [Image of phospholipid biosynthesis inhibition] This combination provides a multi-site attack on the pathogen, reducing the risk of resistance.

Target Diseases
  • Late blight (Phytophthora infestans)
  • Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola, Pseudoperonospora cubensis)
  • Pythium damping-off
Key Benefits

Rapid uptake (rainfastness) and strong redistribution within the leaf tissue provide excellent preventive and curative control.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage / Ha (L) Water (L/Ha) PHI (Days)
Potato Late Blight 1.25 – 1.5 500 19
Tomato Late Blight 1.5 500 05
Application Note: While specifically labeled here for Potato and Tomato, this chemistry is also effective on Cucurbits and Grapes (Downy Mildew). Consult the leaflet for rates on other crops.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply preventively before disease onset or at the very early stages of infection. In conditions favorable for blight (cool and humid), spray intervals should be shortened to 7-10 days.
2. Coverage
Ensure thorough coverage of the foliage, including lower leaves and stems, as Late Blight can spread rapidly. Use sufficient water volume (500 L/Ha).

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Note the difference in PHI between crops: 19 days for Potato and 5 days for Tomato.

Resistance Management: Fluopicolide is Group 43 and Propamocarb is Group 28. This combination is robust, but always rotate with fungicides of different modes of action to maintain efficacy.
