Mode of Action
Respiration Inhibitor (SDHI+QoI)
Crops
Fruit, Veg, Cereals
Active: Fluxapyroxad + Pyraclostrobin Formulation: SC (Suspension Concentrate) Action: Systemic & Translaminar

Product Information

Mode of Action

Fluxapyroxad is an SDHI that inhibits the succinate dehydrogenase enzyme in fungal respiration complex II. [Image of SDHI fungicide mode of action] Pyraclostrobin acts as a QoI inhibitor, blocking mitochondrial respiration at the Qo site (Complex III). [Image of QoI fungicide mode of action] This dual blockade halts energy production in the fungus while simultaneously enhancing photosynthesis and nitrogen efficiency in the plant.

Target Diseases
  • Powdery mildew
  • Alternaria Leaf Spot & Early Blight
  • Anthracnose & Purple Blotch
  • Septoria Leaf Spot
  • Premature Leaf Fall
Key Benefits

AgCelence effect: Treated plants show greener leaves, better stress tolerance, and higher yield quality beyond just disease control.

Recommended Dosage

Crop Disease Dosage Water (L/Ha) PHI (Days)
Grape Powdery Mildew 200 ml/ha 1000 10
Apple Premature leaf fall, Alternaria 15 ml / 100L water 2500 29
Mango Powdery Mildew 150 – 200 ml/ha 1000 38
Cucumber Powdery Mildew 200 – 250 ml/ha 500 10
Chilli Powdery Mildew, Anthracnose 200 – 250 ml/ha 500 7
Tomato Early Blight, Septoria 200 – 250 ml/ha 500 10
Onion Purple Blotch 250 ml/ha 500 10
Dosage Note: For Apple, the dosage is concentration-based (15ml per 100 Liters of water) for high-volume spraying. For other crops, use the per-hectare rate.

Application Instructions

1. Timing
Apply preventively or at the very early stages of disease appearance. Its extended residual activity allows for longer intervals between sprays compared to conventional fungicides.
2. Resistance Management
This product combines Group 7 (SDHI) and Group 11 (QoI). Both groups are prone to resistance if overused. Always rotate with fungicides from different groups (e.g., Triazoles or Multi-site contact fungicides).

Safety Precautions

Harvest Interval: Strict adherence to PHI is critical: 38 days for Mango and 29 days for Apple to ensure export compliance and consumer safety.

Handling: Wear standard protective gear. Avoid spraying during high heat to prevent potential phytotoxicity, though the formulation is generally safe.
