Product Information
Mode of Action
Cymoxanil rapidly penetrates leaf tissue to inhibit early fungal infection. It provides short-term protective and curative (kick-back) action by stopping pathogen development during the initial incubation stages.
Target Diseases
- Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans) – Potato, Tomato
- Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola) – Grapes
- Downy Mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis) – Cucumber
- Downy Mildew (Peronospora spp.) – Leafy Veg, Onion
- Damping-Off
Recommended Dosage
| Crop | Disease | Dosage | Water | PHI (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grapes | Downy Mildew | 0.24% or 240g / 100L water | As required | 15 |
| Other Crops (Potato/Tomato) | Late Blight | Refer to label (Typical use involves tank mixing with contact fungicides). | ||
Application Note: Dosage for Grapes is 240g per 100 Liters of water (0.24% concentration). Water volume depends on crop stage and equipment.
Application Instructions
1. Timing
Apply within 2–3 days of disease appearance for curative action. Cymoxanil has a short residual life (3-5 days), so precise timing is critical.
2. Tank Mixing
It is highly recommended to use Cymoxanil with a compatible contact fungicide (like Mancozeb or Copper) to extend the duration of protection and manage resistance.
Safety Precautions
Warning: Wear personal protective equipment (gloves, mask, goggles). Do not harvest crops before the specified Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI). Safe for most crops but avoid applying to stressed plants.
